 First of all, you have to register for vaccination, and you can get further details on Cowin.gov.in.

 

Caution and tips before vaccination :

1. Before vaccination, if you have any covid19 symptoms, you should take a covid19 test.

2. If you get positive results, you have to take treatment; after recovering from covid19, wait for three months and take a vaccine after doctor consultation.

3. Stay hydrated and avoid drinking alcohol or smoking.

4. Take plenty of liquid item foods and healthy vegetables.

5. Sleep well.

6. If you are taking any pills, consult a doctor before vaccination.

7. Free your time on vaccination day.

8. As usual, wear a mask and maintain social distance.

9. Take any vaccine at the centre. Wear a short-sleeved dress, and don’t forget to bring the ID you used for vaccination registration.

10. Take a note of a vaccine you took for the second dose.

 

Caution and tips after vaccination:

1. After vaccination, you have to stay at the centre for 15 or a few minutes to observe any allergic reactions or symptoms.

2. Relax your arm and place a cleaned cold cloth on the injected area.

3. Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated.

4. Do not consume alcohol, and don’t smoke.

5. You can feel mild symptoms after vaccination: mild fever, body or joint ache, headache, muscle pain, and fatigue. These symptoms indicate that the vaccine is in the process of boosting immunity.

6. If you have any side effects, you can take paracetamol.

7. Suppose the side effects are extended and severe, and you should consult a doctor.

Age Limitation for Covid19 vaccination:

In India, on 1st April 2021, 45 above-aged people were permitted to get vaccinated. 1st May 2021 onwards above 18 above aged people allowed to vaccinate.

 

Eligibility to get covid19 vaccination:

The priority is given to the health care workers and frontline workers to reduce the spread during their duty. The next priority is given to the Above 45 aged people with comorbidities, which will reduce the country’s mortality rate. Below mentioned people have comorbidities that allow getting vaccinated early.

2. Diabetic patients

3. Kidney, liver or stem cell transplant patients

4. Severe respiratory diseased people

5. Lymphoma/leukaemia

6. Hypertension

7. Thalassemia/ Sickle cell anaemia

8. Cancer patients

9. Neuro-muscular disease

It is advisable for the patient, as mentioned earlier, to consult a doctor before vaccination and should get vaccinated earlier.

 

Diet plan after vaccination:

1. Control in sugar level aid to boost immunity. If the sugar level is elevated, it will decrease immunity.

2. Stay hydrated, drink plenty of water.

3. Eat whole grains, protein-enriched foods, vegetables and fruits.

Severe diseased people on their treatment prioritised getting vaccinated to avoid the painful condition. First of all, these people with comorbidities should consult their specialist doctor before vaccination.
