Happiness is a part of life

What makes you happy?

It might be anything that satisfies your wish, and it is life satisfaction. Happiness can be a move to new places, buying things you love, spending quality time with family and friends and your pet; mom makes our favourite food, freedom to make your passion, playing with kids, helping others, gratitude, and growing the plants.

What is our body’s reaction when happy things happen to us?

Let us see, behind our pleasure. In our body, the brain is the powerful organ that controls the body. The brain and some other body organs produce chemicals called hormones. It influences our joy, love, and happiness. Can we measure happiness? Yes, we can. The following chemicals tell us how happy we are.

Dopamine:

It is a neurohormone produced from several brain areas, the substantia nigra and the ventral tegmental area are released by the hypothalamus. Dopamine is responsible for “pleasure and reward”. It motivates me to work hard. A high level of dopamine leads to unnecessary movements, and the lack of dopamine drives you slow and uncoordinated movement—fish, chicken, eggs, nuts, beans and cheese. These food diets are enriched with dopamine.

Serotonin:

It is synthesis from the amino acid tryptophan and produced from the intestine and brain. It is present in the blood platelets and the central nervous system. Serotonin is a “happiness hormone”. Pet name for this hormone is a feel-good hormone. It also helps memorize anything quickly and multitasking. Lack of serotonin leads to anxiety, depression, panic attacks, and anger. The food responsible for serotonin is banana, yoghurt, nuts and exposure yourself to the sun for getting vitamin D.

Oxytocin:

This hormone is secreted from the posterior pituitary gland and is known as the “love hormone”. This hormone is responsible for the feeling of love and trust. Increasing the level of oxytocin helps fight against stress and lower blood pressure. Lack of oxytocin causes feelings of loneliness, unhappiness, unworthiness, anxiety, and the person doesn’t know what’s happening. Avocado, watermelon, spinach and green tea are these food items used to elevate the oxytocin level in the body.

Melatonin:

It is an “anti-ageing hormone”. The pineal gland produces melatonin which drives you sleepy. A high level of melatonin is around 2-3 am. In our brain, light receptors have melatonin when it is dark. Lack of melatonin causes obesity, diabetes and even cancer. If a lack of melatonin occurs, don’t stare at your mobile or laptop screen before you sleep. Foods for melatonin are fish, eggs, and plant food.

Endorphins:

In the brain pituitary gland pumping out endorphins. It is a so-called natural “painkiller hormone”. It is not rid of pain, but it decreases the intensity of pain and improves your mood. It deals with the pain caused by both internal and external causes. Our body releases endorphins concerning how happy we are. People with a Lack of endorphins are emotionally too sensitive and have low pain tolerance. Stick to a fat-enriched food diet like avocados, coconut, and olive to elevate the endorphins. Do Exercise regularly and eat some dark chocolate.

Adrenaline(epinephrine):

The kidney produces this hormone, and two glands at the top of the kidney release adrenaline to fight or flight mode. It deals with stress and helps us to concentrate in a tense situation. This hormone allows us to notify danger by dilating our pupils and stimulating our brain to think. This hormone can stop a heart attack or an allergic reaction by constricts our veins and causes the heart to pump more blood. Foods enriched with adrenaline are eggs, nuts, lean meats, and legumes.

Noradrenaline(Norepinephrine):

It is produced from the central nervous system and adrenal glands; this helps our body in a high-stress situation. Norepinephrine elevates blood pressure, dilates pupils, increases heart rate and redirects blood from your skin to muscles. This hormone occurs when in dangerous and high-stress conditions. It disappears after the thread is gone. A low level of norepinephrine leads to a lack of interest in life and lethargy. Cheese, fish, banana, egg, chicken, and seafood for norepinephrine

Do you think money makes us happy?

Of course, money makes us happy, Because it satisfies our lives. But one thing is not permanent. Temporary things never give us happiness. So, don’t think money only makes us happier and one person’s laugh can’t decide their joy. So, do what makes you happy!
